Hong Kong Hotels
Choosing accommodation can be a difficult task.
I will strongly advise you to choose an accommodation according to your travel itinerary. Travelling within Hong Kong could be time consuming especially during rush hours.
My choice of accommodation must be
1. convenient for public transportation – nearby MTR ( underground train ) station
2. near by shopping area – sometimes my wife will run multiple trips between shopping area and hotel, that save my legs muscle and precious time.
3. availability of local food in the middle of the night.
My wife & I do not stay in the hotel to ENJOY ourselves, so hardly we will go for the 5 stars hotel. We like to stay in MONGKOK in Kowloon peninsula. Very convenient location for food & shopping.
I will recommend STANDFORD HOTEL, MONGKOK. Reasonable price for decent place to stay.
We book our hotel via HotelClub / Rates To Go. It is usually cheaper and they have frequent special price of accommodations and LAST MINUTE HOTEL DEALS
